Full-length zipper opens wide for fast packing. Roomy open interior space is fully lined with cotton fabric with one inside zippered pocket on one side and two slip-pockets on the other. Zip it closed from either side with a dual top zipper closure. The exterior features two zippered end pockets and a buckled pocket on the front for quick access.

Antique brass feet protect the bottom of the bag and keeps it from touching the ground.

NOTE:  Vegetable-tanned leather uses a special process that harnesses the power of natural tannins found in organic materials that produce unique variations in shade and color. The vegetable tanning process produces some of the sturdiest, most durable leathers available. It’s a much less pliable product than chromium-tanned leather, so it’s used where stiffness and durability can be an asset, such as saddlery, wallets, and bags. This method does not pollute the environment the way the chromium-based leather tanning process does. There is also less machinery and electricity involved. Vegetable-tanned leather has the longevity and beauty only an artisanally-crafted product can sustain.
